FORT ST. JOHN INCONNU COACH PASSES AWAY SUDDENLY

By: CSCTA - Jun. 18, 2018

The CSCTA is deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of member Steve Sadownik of Ft. St. John BC.  Steve was the former Head Coach of the Inconnu Swim Club and had remained on with the club in an Assistant role after taking a job in the energy sector.

Steve Sadownik passed away suddenly on June 16th, 2018 from a heart attack during a training run in Jasper, Alberta. A long time swimmer and athlete, Steve knew many of the swimming community. He is predeceased by his wife Nicole Sadownik who passed away on May 8, 2017. http://www.hamresfuneral.com/obituaries/Nicole-Sadownik/

Steve and Nicole leave behind two children, Victoria and Steven Sadownik. A Go Fund Me campaign has been set up in their memory. Victoria and Steven have asked for some time to process the passing of their father, and ask their friends to respect this incredibly difficult time.
