NYAC Turns 50

Established in 1958, North York Aquatic Club is now 50 years old. What great history we have and what an exciting time to be part of the competitive swimming experience at NYAC.

We are planning a number of celebratory events including a 50th Anniversary Gala on Friday, June 20th, 2008 at the Spirale Banquet Hall at Don Mills and Barber Greene Road.

This will be a night of dining and dancing and sharing of memories!

We welcome, and encourage, participation and support from our current membership and from previous swimmers and their families.

Let’s make this truly a celebration to remember.

Calling all NYAC Alumni

We call all NYAC Alumni to register with the NYAC50 office to be updated with information about the 50th anniversary events. Please provide us with your name, contact details, years as member with NYAC and the names of your coaches.

Gala Ticket Information

• NYAC 50th Gala Tickets are now on sale.
• The cost is $75 per adult and $25 per child.
• Be there to meet former NYAC Olympians!
• The Gala event includes Dinner and Dancing until 1:00 a.m.
• The venue is the Spirale Banquet Hall at Don Mills and Eglinton.
• The date is Friday, June 20, 2008
• Only 250 tickets will be available - so don't delay.
• Tickets will not be sold at the door.
• Contact the NYAC office to secure your spot!

We are desperately in need of someone who could silkscreen our 50th logo on towels already purchased AND someone who could do our centerpieces for the GALA tables (20 tables). If you canhelp we will be so grateful…..please call the NYAC office and speak to Olga!

NYAC will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at the Spirale Banquet Hall on Friday, June 20, 2008. A silent auction will be part of the festivities with all the proceeds going to NYAC and its programs.

We need your help!

We are looking for donations for our silent auction in order to make it a grand success. Donations can range from:
· tickets to sporting events/shows
· gift certificates to shops/ restaurants/ hotels/flights
· gift baskets of any nature
