French Immersion Swim Program
Club de Natation Les Riverains is proud to present our Swim/French Immersion program. Learn to speak French and practice your favourite sport at the same time!
Our immersion program will give you the opportunity to live in a French immersion environment and discover Québec City, the only fortified city in North America appearing on the prestigious list of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. We are glad to offer swimmers a chance to spend a year with us in the beautiful City of Lévis, a community on the south side of the St. Lawrence river directly across from Québec City. Swimmers will enjoy a family lifestyle by being housed with another family within the club.
At the Club de Natation Les Riverains, we have been training swimmers for more than 30 years all the way to the international level. We have developed a tremendous knowledge over the years in creating a great environment to ensure the success of young athletes. Futhermore, swimmers will have the opportunity to train alongside national team members and international level coaches. Our club has many benefits since it is recognised as ''Club of Excellence'' by the Fédération de Natation du Québec. Swimmers will have the exposure to the expertise of many specialists throughout the competitive season.
The immersion year is organised by experienced coaches and sponsored by Quebec's renowned Sport-Étude (sports school) program. The program includes at least 2.5 hours daily swim work-outs, multiple activities (spinning, cross-country skiing, etc.), and French classes within the local sport-school (schedule). Cultural visits, tours of Quebec, and more will also be offered throughout the season.
Our interest in the youth's training is a legend in Lévis! We are particularly proud of our French Immersion Swim Program. We hope speaking French and visiting the Quebec region will be a great learning experience.
