The VPSC Board is excited to announce the appointment of Patrick Paradis as Head Coach / VPSC Program Director.
After 3 years as Head Coach/Director of Performance with Laval University (UL) in Quebec, Coach Patrick is returning to BC where he served as Head Coach/Director of Swimming with Chena Swim Club from 2010-2020. His career began in Ontario where he worked with 4 programs from 1995-2010 before joining Chena. Coach Patrick led Chena Swim Club to their first ever Provincial Team Championship in 2013, and in just three seasons at UL revitalized it to a top 10 USPORT program with swimmers breaking numerous program and Provincial records.
Throughout his 30-year coaching career, Coach Patrick has coached swimmers to success at all levels with numerous Club, Provincial, and National record swims. The programs he has led have had numerous swimmers represent Canada internationally in both Junior and Senior Team competitions with multiple swimmers coming home with medals at both levels.
Coach Patrick is excited to bring all this experience and knowledge to VPSC in order to continue to develop our program into the one of the strongest in the country.
With more than a decade of Head Coach experience, Coach Patrick has a proven track record of successful club development and management. The VPSC Board is confident Coach Patrick’s dedication and leadership, combined with the support of our excellent coaching staff, will ensure the long term success of the club and our swimmers at all levels.
