CSCA and Myrtha Pools Partner to Deliver Essential Insights on Facility Development

The Canadian Swimming Coaches Association (CSCA) is excited to announce a continuation of our partnership with Myrtha Pools, aimed at delivering critical information and resources on aquatic facility development. As part of the CSCA Live! series, this collaboration will provide valuable tools and knowledge to the Canadian swimming community, with a focus on innovative and cost-effective construction solutions.

The first session, CSCA Live! Myrtha Pools Series: Exploring Alternate Construction – A Sprung Structures & Myrtha Pools Case Study, will take place on March 13, 2025, at 1 PM Eastern Time via Zoom. This session will examine how Idaho Competitive Aquatics successfully developed an aquatic learning and training centre utilizing Sprung Structures and Myrtha Pools Engineered Technology. The presentation will also feature real-world Canadian examples of alternative construction approaches.

In response to skyrocketing traditional construction costs—rising by as much as 40% since the COVID-19 pandemic—private enterprises, institutions, and municipalities are increasingly exploring alternative methods for facility development. This session will highlight how organizations can create affordable, functional, and revenue-centric aquatic facilities.

In 2024, CSCA and Myrtha Pools joined forces to provide comprehensive resources to the Canadian swimming community on facility development. This session marks the first in a planned series designed to support clubs, organizations, and municipalities in their facility planning and construction efforts.

This session is open to everyone in the Canadian swimming community, as well as individuals and organizations interested in exploring innovative aquatic facility design and construction options.
